The Miami Herald Reports on Akerman Senterfitt U.S. Real Estate Summit Survey Findings

MIAMI — March 15, 2012 — The Miami Herald published the article, “Survey: Commerical Real Estate Outlook Brightens,” reporting on the findings of a survey of real estate industry leaders at the Akerman U.S. Real Estate Summit 2012. According to the survey, 82 percent of respondents indicated their outlook for the market in 2012 was optimistic, an increase of 6 percent from 2011, with 50 percent citing the improving U.S. economy as the primary driver for their optimism.

Richard Bezold, chair of the Akerman National Real Estate Practice Group, was quoted in the article.

“The outlook for the commercial real estate industry in 2012 is bright, but the recent recovery is still tenuous, and could be dampened by a range of factors, including the continued uncertainty in Europe, persistent restraints on debt and equity financing and the threats to the health of the U.S. economy due to rising energy costs,” said Rich.
