Shughart Thomson & Kilroy Hires Missouri State Representative Michael Talboy (District 37)

Kansas City, MO- Missouri State Representative Michael Talboy will be dividing his time between Jefferson City and Kansas City. Shughart Thomson & Kilroy, P.C. has hired Talboy to practice in its Construction and Labor and Employment Practice Groups. The democratic leader represents District 37, which includes downtown Kansas City, the Westside, Crossroads, 18th & Vine and the Valentine neighborhoods.

Talboy has been involved in local and national politics since 2001. He worked as a Regional Field Director in Missouri for the Missouri Coordinated Campaign. Talboy was instrumental in developing what was considered the top field organization for John Kerry in 2004. In 2006, after his successful primary campaign, Talboy helped the field campaign for now Senator Claire McCaskill.

Issues important to Representative Talboy include health care, job creation, biotechnology advancement, energy conservation, immigration and business development. Talboy is available as a source for the news media on these issues.

Talboy earned his J.D., from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2002 and graduated with his BA in Communications from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2000.
