About
Founded in 1987, MACKRELL INTERNATIONAL (MI) took its name from John Mackrell, a London lawyer who started a practice in Lincoln’s Inn in 1845. He was renowned for his common sense commercial approach to legal matters and founded a scholarship for practical legal excellence. His common sense philosophy is shared by all member firms of MACKRELL INTERNATIONAL.
This common sense attitude, combined with excellent personal relationships, is the key to MI’s success. Client satisfaction is vital, and as we integrate new firms, we ensure that their ethos and actions fit in with our working methods and quality expectations. Our member firm’s clients tend to stay with us, and it is not unusual to find them working with Mackrell members in a variety of countries around the world.
Benefits of belonging to the MI network are extensive: it is an excellent vehicle for our member firms to provide their clients with seamless access to international legal representation, and in turn member firms receive incoming business. Although each firm preserves its own identity and independence, they can draw on the experience and knowledge of MI members around the world to provide legal advice on all continents.
Regional and International Meetings, frequent conference calls and participation in working parties and practice groups give member lawyers plenty of opportunities to develop excellent relationships and contribute to the development of our network. No matter how far away they are, other members are personally known as trusted colleagues, which is both reassuring and essential for both member lawyers and their clients.
MI welcomes enquiries from firms who wish to become part of our excellent network. Email us on Secretariat@mackrell.net for more information.
