The Antitrust and Competition Practice Group’s goal is help identify those attorneys within the Mackrell firms that have significant experience in national and international competition issues and further identify those members with specialized skills or with specific agency experience to better serve our respective clients. The Group will also become a platform for exchange of information, recent developments and cross marketing.

Mackrell’s firms have a broad range of experience prosecuting and defending private antitrust and competition lawsuits, responding to civil and criminal investigations by national and local enforcement authorities, providing antitrust counseling to businesses, and preparing and implementing antitrust compliance programs.

They also provide advice on transactional competition issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, including Hart-Scott-Rodino pre-merger notification, negotiations with national and local regulators, both for clients seeking merger approval and clients opposing a merger, administrative filings, and corporate structuring.
