Sheena Ogra

Sheena specializes in advising companies on all aspects of employment law matters and commercial transactions. She has extensive experience in advising clients on employee incentive schemes, including stock options, social security benefits, gratuity, and maternity benefits, company policies, as well as onboarding of employees and termination processes. Sheena also advises clients on workplace harassment. Her expertise in this area helps clients navigate the complexities surrounding sexual harassment at workplace. She conducts training sessions for employees and internal complaints committee members in relation to sexual harassment at workplace. Sheena has considerable experience in advising clients on setting up of business operations in India across various industry sectors, and regularly advises multinational clients on the India entry strategy in line with the applicable foreign investment laws and on issues which arise due to sectoral caps and sector specific conditionalities. Sheena over a period has led teams in many sizeable private equity transactions and also advises on structuring commercial transactions, including business transfers and joint ventures (both domestic and cross border).
