DANCKELMANN UND KERST is a Frankfurt-based law firm with a long tradition. It was founded in the 1920s and still bears the name of the famous lawyer Dr. Bernhard Danckelmann, who co-founded not only the “Palandt” Commentary on the German Civil Code, but also the "Neue Juristische Wochenschrift" (NJW), a weekly publication on legal issues. Today the firm is active throughout Germany in many areas of commercial law. Special areas of focus include intellectual property (unfair competition, trademark, copyright, design, patent, license and antitrust law) as well as telecommunications and media law.
