Specializations

Paulina specializes in investments and investment exits, M&As, and providing corporate services to companies, private equity investors, and venture capital funds. She supports enterprises in commercializing the results of R&D work, acquiring capital from private and public sources, and divestment processes. She advises several VC funds co-financed by the Polish National Center for Research and Development and the Polish Development Fund (BRIdge Alfa, PFR Starter, PFR Open Innovations, Swiss-Polish Cooperation Program). She negotiates investment agreements and coordinates legal and financial due diligence reviews—the Law Firm carries out several dozen of them every year and their value ranges from several to over one hundred million PLN.

Experience

She has been involved in a number of divestment processes for VC funds, including a process of separating out a SPV operating on the e-recruitment market and its sale to the OLX Group, the sale of an organized portion of an enterprise that specializes in SaaS IT services to the EY Group, and joint investments of Polish and foreign funds in Polish technological companies.

In her everyday practice, she also advises funds, accelerators, and entrepreneurship incubators e.g. on negotiating agreements with grant providers and strategic partners, setting up corporate structures, and acquiring financing, including from the European Space Agency. As an expert, she provides advisory on behalf of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the Foundation for Technological Entrepreneurship in terms of med-tech, automation, engineering, fintech, and the IoT.

Outside of investment processes, she has handled the implementation of personal data protection principles in Poland and abroad, e.g. for the international company’s from the IT and robotics sector.
