Attorney and specialized legal opinion writer. Retired appellate federal judge, was former president and Inspector General of the Regional Federal Court of Appeals of the 3rd Region (“TRF-3”). Headed the Specialized Division, the Judicial Panels of Public Law (comprising tax, government procurement and contracts, administrative improbity actions), Criminal Law and Expropriation Law and the Judicial Management and Justice Councils of the TRF-3. Organized and presided over one of the first courts in Brazil specialized in hearing tax enforcement proceedings. As chief judge of TRF3, set up its specialized panels of criminal law. Served as member of the Council of Federal Justice (Brasilia, Federal District). Served as presiding judge at the Regional Electoral Court of São Paulo. Served as Special Prosecutor in the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of São Paulo.
