Linda A Klein, board member and managing shareholder from Baker Donelson, one of MI’s 23 US members, has become the President of the American Bar Association (ABA). Baker Donelson is the 60th largest law firm in the US with 650 attorneys and has been a member of MI for 20 years from 14 of its offices across Alabama, Louisiana, New Orleans, Mississippi and Tennessee.
During her one year term, Linda A Klein will focus on improving access to justice and providing legal assistance to US veterans. She will also mobilise ABA resources to promote voting in upcoming elections and support the rights of all children to a quality education.
On her appointment, Linda A Klein said; “It’s an honor and privilege to lead this great association. I have dedicated my career to the law and the legal profession. As president of the ABA, I will continue the Association’s work to advance justice throughout our country.”
