Law Firms Crowley Millar Solicitors LLP and J R Sweeney LLP Announce Merger
Crowley Millar Solicitors LLP and J R Sweeney LLP have agreed to merge their businesses with effect from the 1st December 2022. The merger will create an Irish-managed law practice with 10 partners, 20 solicitors and a total staff of 48 people. The enlarged firm will practice from 2-3 Exchange Place, Georges Dock, IFSC, Dublin 1, D01 AE27 and also at The Gallery, 13 Bedford Row, Limerick, V94 VY47. The merged firm will practice under the name or style of Crowley Millar Solicitors LLP (Incorporating J R Sweeney LLP).
The merger will expand and greatly enhance the range of services to both firms’ clients with specialist departments in Corporate Law, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Property, Employment Law, Private Client, Insurance Law, Public Health & Administrative Law as well as operating Chinese & Indian Desks. Both firms have a long-established track record in providing commercial legal advice and services.
Joseph R. Sweeney becomes the Chairman and both Eileen Kelly and Bryan C. Sweeney become Partners in the enlarged firm.
