30 clients gathered in Houston, Texas,last week at the invitation of Mehaffy Weber, member of Mackrell International to hear the views of six distinguished panelists on Anti Corruption Moves in Latin America. Nigel Rowley, Deputy Chair, and Clive Mieville, MD of MI, were in attendance to meet clients and Texan lawyers and to learn more of the complexities surrounding corruption in both public and private entities. Some American stereotypes on the subject were debunked!
The nine Central and Southern American Members of Mackrell International all participated in the debate and fully intend to hold more seminars in the USA along with domestic legal firms that are members of MI.
Clive Mieville thanked Paul Heyburn, partner at the host firm, and all the Latam members, for their sterling initiative.
