Members, Clients and Contacts to ride for charity

Mackrell International (MI) members, clients and contacts from across the world have signed up to the three day, 250 mile, London to Paris bike ride to raise money for charity. The network is fielding a 40-strong team for the annual event which starts at the Savoy Hotel on 22 September and finishes at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris during the Virades de L’espoir, the city’s annual festival to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis. MI’s charities are Vaincre la Mucoviscidose (www.vaincrelamuco.org), the French-based cystic fibrosis organisation, and MI’s nominated charity, The Larchfield Trust which is raising money to build an orphanage in Tanzania (www.larchfieldkids.org.)

Nigel Rowley, MI’s deputy chair, said; “This is an unmissable opportunity for our members and their clients to cycle one of the world’s classic routes while raising money for two important charities. MI members are used to working together in virtual teams on client work, this is the first time we have joined forces to raise money for charity and plan for this to become an annual event.”

MI members taking part include Mackrell Turner Garrett London, Stehlin & Associés in Paris, van Cutsem from Brussels, SLB Kloepper from Munich and Nexsen Pruet, US member for the Carolinas.

Event organiser is Tina Makin of Pie Events.
