Mackrell International connections spark new business

The importance of having strong client relationships and close connections across the MI network are keenly highlighted in a recent MI success story.

Krisztina Zsiros, Managing Partner of Kalman Partners in Hungary was having lunch with a client-friend in Budapest who mentioned that her company, one of Hungary’s major fresh-food producers, was looking to expand into Poland and she was struggling to find a good commercial law firm there.

Having met and spent time getting to know Marcin Wierzbicki and Mariusz Purgal from KWKR in Krakow at MI EMEA meetings, Krisztina suggested them as an option for her client.

KWKR then tendered for the business and were delighted to be appointed to help the client successfully set up and broaden their operations into the Polish market.

Led by Mariusz, the KWKR team’s pro-business approach and commitment to delivering effective solutions have helped the client build a competitive position in this new market.  The project has been so successful, the client now plans to use their Polish presence as a springboard for expansion into the Baltic countries (where MI will also have representation in 2025).
